Position: Domestic and Sexual Violence Community Educator - VSS

Reports to: RCC Program Manager

Start Date: Immediately

Job Summary: Under general supervision of the Rape Crisis Center Program Manager, the Domestic and Sexual Violence Community Educator (DSVCE) provides education to the greater community about the services provided at Partnership Victims Support Services, as well as, the prevalence of sexual and domestic violence in our community and culture. The DSVCE will also be a subject matter expert & trainer to program & agency staff with regard to Domestic and Sexual Violence. The DSVCE will: 1) Provide community education, 2) Trains staff on advocacy & case management. The focus of this position is to provide education that is uniquely tailored to various community populations. This programming will assist and empower populations to acknowledge the persistence of domestic and sexual violence in our culture, as well as, how to identify and break the cycle of abuse and violence.


Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or in a related field such as education, sociology, social work, public health, psychology or other human and behavioral courses with two years of satisfactory work in a human services field.

Salary: Non-Exempt, Grade 160, $16.41/hr.
