Position: Sexual Assault Advocate & Case Manager–Victim Services
NOTE: This position will be from 2 pm – 10 pm
Reports to: RCC Program Manager
Start Date: Immediately
Under general supervision of the RCC Program Manager, provides direct services to victims of sexual assault and/or friends and family members of victims and community outreach regarding sexual assault and access to services available. The Advocate performs all related activities including: 1) assessment, 2) providing information and referral, 3) hotline counseling, crisis intervention; and crisis counseling 4) linking with appropriate agency and community resources, 5) advocating on the victim’s behalf (i.e. court advocacy), and 7) public awareness and outreach activities.
A Baccalaureate degree in human service from an accredited college or university or in a related field such as psychology, sociology or other human and behavioral courses.
Experience: One year of satisfactory work experience in human services field.

Salary: Non-Exempt, Grade 160, $16.41 hour
