Job Title College & Career Advisor/Workplace Mentoring Coordinator

Purpose College & Career Advisors guide students as they chart the course for their career journey. They analyze and understand students' interests, core strengths and aspects of ‘fit’ as it pertains to their postsecondary plans. Whether that fit is a 2 or 4-year college, a certificate program, apprenticeships, military or work, they match aspects of fit to a short list of colleges and other opportunities to create a personal timeline for students and their families. They are not only a guide for helping students get into college, but more importantly, they want to navigate the career journey with students because career decisions don’t end with college admission.
