Position:                                    PRN Supervised Visitation Monitor in Crisis Services/Family Connections

Reports to:                                  Program Manager

Start Date:                                  Immediately

Job Summary:                            PRN (as needed) Supervised Visitation Monitor will monitor visits between children and their non-custodial parent in a safe environment. The PRN Visitation Monitor will also schedule and conduct orientations with both parents, at separate times and with the child(ren). The PRN Visitation Monitor will follow safety and security protocols set in place for the protection and safety of all participants.

 

Education:                                    Baccalaureate degree in Human Services field from an accredited college or university in a related field such as psychology, sociology, education, or other human and behavior courses.       

Experience:                                  One year of satisfactory work experience in a human services field or equivalent experience.  Specialized knowledge of domestic violence, post-separation violence, and resources available to victims and batterers and knowledge of trauma and the effects of domestic violence on children, preferred.

 

Salary:                                         Grade 170 - $15.00/hour
