Bilingual Outreach Advocate

Monday thru Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Full Time (40 hours per week)

The Family Crisis Center is a non-profit organization that provides domestic violence services to victims and their children serving the North Georgia Counties of Walker, Dade, Catoosa and Chattooga.  This position will provide crisis intervention to all residents and non-residents to include safety planning, emotional support, validating the victim's experience and feelings, information and referrals regarding services, exploring options, discussion of effects of violence on adults and children, etc.  Advocate for Spanish speaking clients.  Translate, interpret and implement information and services for Spanish speaking clients.  Serves as interpreter for agency. Coordinate and provide outreach services to Hispanic Communities.
