Manager, Talent Attraction and Retention- Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce

The Manager of Talent Attraction and Retention will work closely with the VP of Talent Initiatives, other members of the talent team and key business leaders and volunteers to develop and manage an aligned talent attraction and retention system for greater Chattanooga.

The position must cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships across a multitude of partner agencies, educational institutions, governmental entities and businesses in a variety of key industry sectors. The work includes managing existing programs such as the Chamber’s young professionals group, and conducting the research necessary to propose, develop and launch new programs focusing on talent attraction, assimilation and retention. These may include best practices such as industry alliances, talent concierge services, talent assimilation efforts, as well as developing new models addressing industry needs.

Minimum qualifications are a bachelor’s degree with three years of applicable business experience, including two years managing staff or volunteers; prior experience in building coalitions, crafting programming, influencing stakeholders and organizing public awareness campaigns is highly desired.
